Caroline is ONE!!! God has blessed our family in big ways this year. Parenthood has been wonderful. Caroline has had her fair share of obstacles this year, but that hasn't stopped her! She is growing so fast, and continues to show progress each day (even if it is at her own pace). On this milestone birthday, I have been reflecting on all the GOOD things that have happened this year...
We were blessed with a 5 lb 12 oz baby!
She has 2 bottom teeth, and two top ones that are peeking through!
She learned to cry (you might not know what a huge accomplishment this really was, but communication is great!)
She is kicking her feet ALL the time now!
She opens her eyes wide when she hears our voices!
She smiles when we tickle her!
She can jump in her jumperoo!
She can put her hands in her mouth!
She can eat pureed baby food!
She gives the BEST snuggles!
She has a big girl car seat!
She is lifting her head at tummy time!
Her cough is getting srtonger so we don't choke near as often!
She hits her bumble bee toy with her hands to make it sing!
She wears her brace all the time, and it really helps with head control!
She amazes her therapists each week with her happy demeanor!
She knows her nights from her days! (hope saying that out loud doesn't come back to bite me!)
Happy Birthday to our favorite girl! We love you so much!
That bow is just awesome!!! I can't believe she's already 1!!!! Such a sweet blessing.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to share some information on car seat safety.
DeleteThe American Academy of Pediatrics now advises parents to keep toddlers in rear-facing car seats until age 2, or until they exceed the height or weight limit for the car seat, which can be found on the back of the seat.
